Bose QC15, Take 2 & More.

The Bose QC15 Headphones are back up for auction, apparently these cannot be exported from the US. There are 8 new listings and about another 10 or so for Monday night. I've been enjoying my new home theater set-up by not enjoying watching the Bears lose again. I watched the remaining episodes of Storage Wars that I had yet to see...research, you know. Macy seems to be happy with the theater as well. Oh!...I also did some experimenting with vinaigrette recipes and ate a family sized portion of salad.  I've acquired some Rotring drawing pens and some vintage tea spoons that will be up later in the week, but for now, here are the new items. Seriously, check out that Spawn jacket:

More moving today trumps new listings. Moving the new roommate in tomorrow morning and hopefully I will have time to list. There were more nice finds today as well, including some vintage Polo by Ralph Lauren items, an awesome SPAWN Varsity style jacket with embroidered back, some cups for a friend of mine, and a fantastic vintage letterman cardigan sweater complete with Chenille patches. So if I don't get a chance to list all of the new stuff tomorrow, then it will have to wait for Sunday evening. I will post as soon as I start them. Now for the first installment of Thrift Hazards.

Thrifting Hazards Part 1:
STAPLES (Not the Office Store) ~ For whatever reason, most thrift stores use staples to attach price tags to their clothing. I flip through clothes pretty fast and I look through thousands daily so inevitably one of my fingers gets snagged on a poorly stapled staple. This is usually followed by some swearing and thumb-sucking and in extreme cases, strategizing exactly how to remove my finger safely.

New Items Added!

Alright, so far so good! Day two of the blogging and I am not totally bored by it yet.
The thrift stores were pretty smelly today...or should I say the customers were stinky. That's just one of the things that I deal with to bring you super awesome stuff. The haul was worth it though, not a ton of finds, but GOOD ones including a Dale of Norway sweater, a vintage Nike raglan shirt with the orange swoosh tag, a totally righteous vintage 1970s Levis pullover denim shirt, some Patagonia stuff, and a vintage Polo Sport shelled fleece jacket. Those should all be up and available tomorrow evening.

As promised, tonight I listed the Bose headphones and a few other items.

and so it begins.

Hey! Welcome to Thrift-Sifter's Ebay Ramble Bucket! This is where I, Thrift-Sifter, will attempt to keep you informed and entertained with my thrifting and sifting finds and adventures. My ebay listings are available here: Thrift-Sifter Auctions

Long day today. Helped my roommate move out of the apartment and had little time for Ebay. I DID however, have 53 auctions end this evening so I will be busy packing items to ship out. I always try to send items the following morning. I had a chance to sneak out to a thrift store for a blurry fast 45 minutes and found some old records in amazing condition...nothing too exciting but I could not pass them up because they looked so good. Also found a strange Boblbee bag, not the crazy cool backpacks they make, but some  type of semi-transparent shoulder bag. And lastly, a Microsoft fingerprint reader for your computer.

Among the new listings for tomorrow evening will be the fingerprint reader and a pair of brand new Bose QC15 Quiet Comfort Noise Canceling Headphones. And I will be relisting a few items that did not sell from last night's closings.

I can't seem to stop talking about my new flashlight, so why not share it here as well. It is a Fenix LD25. Fenix also makes a bike mount for some of their flashlights so I am finally able to see where I am going.
